Why Can’t I Receive Emails from WOO X?

How does TOTP work?

WOO X uses a Time-based One-time Password (TOTP) for Two-Factor Authentication, it involves generating a temporary, unique one-time 6-digit code* that is only valid for 30 seconds. You will need to enter this code to perform actions that affect your assets or personal information on the platform.

Unable to upload photo during KYC Verification

If you encounter difficulties uploading photos or receive an error message during your KYC process, please consider the following verification points:

  2. Confirm that the image size is below 5 MB.
  3. Use a valid and original ID, such as a personal ID, driver’s license, or passport.
  4. Your valid ID must belong to a citizen of a country that allows unrestricted trading, as outlined in "II. Know-Your-Customer and Anti-Money-Laundering Policy" - "Trade Supervision" in the WOO X User Agreement.
  5. If your submission meets all the above criteria, but KYC verification remains incomplete, it might be due to a temporary network issue. Please follow these steps for resolution:
  • Wait for some time before resubmitting the application.
  • Clear the cache in your browser and terminal.
  • Submit the application through the website or app.
  • Try using different browsers for the submission.
  • Ensure your app is updated to the latest version.
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, kindly take a screenshot of the KYC interface error message and send it to our Customer Service for verification. We will address the matter promptly and enhance the relevant interface to provide you with improved service. We appreciate your cooperation and support.


Common Errors During the KYC Process

  • Taking unclear, blurry, or incomplete photos may result in unsuccessful KYC verification. When performing face recognition, please remove your hat (if applicable) and face the camera directly.
  • KYC process is connected to a third-party public security database, and the system conducts automatic verification, which cannot be manually overridden. If you have special circumstances, such as changes in residency or identity documents, that prevent authentication, please contact online customer service for advice.
  • If camera permissions are not granted for the app, you will be unable to take photos of your identity document or perform facial recognition.
 

Why did my identity verification fail?

Users can see the reason for failed identity verification in the account page. Here is the list of all possible reasons:

[Level 0 - 1]

  • The identity verification on step 2 was unsuccessful. Please retry.
    (Please make sure the ID type is correct and readable in step 2)
  • The identity document has expired.
  • The legal name you provided doesn’t match the one on the ID.

[Level 1 - 2]

  • The residential address you provided doesn’t match the Proof of Address.
  • The Proof of Address is over 90 days.
  • The type of Proof of Address doesn’t match our requirements.
  • You shall upload the entire bill/statement. 
  • The name on the Proof of Address doesn’t correspond with the one on the ID.
  • The file of Proof of Address can’t be opened.
  • The Proof of Address doesn’t show the name, residential address, or issuance date.

How long does it take for identity verification to be approved?

Please keep in mind, that it may take up to 3 working days for WOO X compliance team to review your application. When your application is approved - you will get an e-mail with a notification.

Deposit

What is a tag or memo, and why do I need to enter it when depositing crypto?

A tag or memo is a unique identifier assigned to each account for identifying a deposit and crediting the appropriate account. When depositing certain crypto, such as BNB, XEM, XLM, XRP, KAVA, ATOM, BAND, EOS, etc., you need to enter the respective tag or memo for it to be successfully credited.


Reasons for Unarrived Deposits

1. Multiple factors can affect the arrival of funds, including but not limited to smart contract deposit, abnormal transaction status on blockchain, blockchain congestion, failure to transfer out normally by the withdrawal platform, wrong or missing memo/tag, deposit address or the choice of the wrong chain type, suspension of deposit on target address platform, etc.

2. When a withdrawal is marked as “completed” or “success” on the platform from which you’re withdrawing your crypto, it means that the transaction has been successfully broadcast to the blockchain network. However, the transaction may still require time to be fully confirmed and credited to the recipient platform. Please note that the required network confirmations vary with different blockchains. Take BTC deposits as an example:
  • Your BTC deposit will be credited to your account after at least 1 network confirmation.
  • After being credited, all assets in your account will be temporarily frozen. For security purposes, a minimum of 2 network confirmations are required before your BTC deposit can be unlocked on WOO X.

3. Due to possible network congestion, there might be a significant delay in processing your transaction. You may use the TXID (Transaction ID) to look up the status of the transfer of your assets from a blockchain explorer.


How to Solve This Situation?

If your deposits have not been credited to your account, you can follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. If the transaction hasn’t been fully confirmed by the blockchain network nodes, or hasn’t reached the minimum amount of network confirmations specified by WOO X, please wait patiently for it to be processed. Once the transaction is confirmed, WOO X will credit the funds to your account.

2. If the transaction is confirmed by the blockchain but not credited to your WOO X account, you can contact WOO X support and provide them with the following information:
  • UID
  • Email number
  • Currency name and chain type (for example: USDT-TRC20)
  • Deposit amount and TXID (hash value)
  • Our customer service will collect your information and transfer it to the relevant department for further processing.

3. If there is any update or resolution regarding your deposit issue, WOO X will notify you by email as soon as possible.


What Can I Do When I Deposit to A Wrong Address

1. Deposit made to an incorrect receiving/deposit address

WOO X generally does not offer a token/coin recovery service. However, if you have suffered a significant loss as a result of incorrectly deposited tokens/coins, WOO X may, solely at our discretion, assist you in recovering your tokens/coins. WOO X has comprehensive procedures to help our users recover their financial losses. Please note that fully token recovery is not guaranteed. 2. Deposit made to an incorrect address that doesn’t belong to WOO X.
